On the day of my birthday I was surprised by this beautiful red vase of my favorite flower (roses) and this cuddly teddy bear. They were from my youngest daughter, Shelli and her wonderful husband, Rob. They live all the way in Topeka, Kansas. And because of this tekky world we live in beautiful sentiments can be sent thousands of miles in a matter of seconds. I have the sweetest kids. They all make me so proud.

Thanks mom! I know it is a year old, but I just saw this blog entry. I do love you very much and I wish I could do more for you on you birthday than just flowers, but since I am so far away, I am glad that I sent you your favorites!
